Note: The BLM should review the Scheduling Interval tab to verify the correct usage and part number assignment for the newly created baseline task. Delete a Task Definition The Delete Task Definition option on the Task Definition tab in the Assembly Explorer or WUC/UNS dialog box enables you to delete a defined task to a selected sub-WUC/UNS (assembly or component). For Assembly Explorer 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click a sub-WUC/UNS (assembly or component) in the tree view and click the Task Definition tab. 3 Click the Delete Task Definition button . 4 Click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action. This process deletes the task from the Task Definition block. For WUC/UNS 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Right-click the sub-WUC/UNS (assembly or component) in the tree view, and select WUC/UNS Properties, or click the item, go to the Edit menu, and select WUC/UNS Properties or click the WUC/UNS Properties button. 3 Click Delete Task Definition. 4 Click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action. This process deletes the task from the Task Definition block. 284 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Modify Task Definition The Modify Task Definition tab in the Assembly Explorer allows the Baseline Manager (BLM) to modify an existing baseline task against the aircraft, an assembly, or sub-component selected in the hierarchical WUC structure. Squadron users and other foundation tiers are only allowed to view the Task Definition tab. # To modify an existing baseline task: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click a sub-WUC/UNS from the tree view and click the Task Definition tab. -orRight-click on a WUC/UNS from the tree view and select WUC/UNS Properties. -orClick the WUC/UNS Properties button Definition tab. and select the Task 3 Select the task that you want to modify and click the Task Definition Properties button . -orRight-click on the task and select Task Definition Properties.
