Step 3 - Source Aircraft Part/Position Selection This data window displays the WUC/UNS breakdown beginning from the system down to the actual WUC/UNS of the work order. This step is part of the Cannibalization Wizard - Urgent with Requisition process. 1 Verify the WUC/UNS and position, highlight it, and then click Next. The Removal/Install Signatures and Serno Entry dialog box appears. 2 Go to Step 4 (see "Step 4 - Removal/Install Signatures and Serno Entry" on page 389). Step 4 - Removal/Install Signatures and Serno Entry This data window appears with the part number of the component being removed from the source aircraft to be installed on the target aircraft. Both transactions require CDI signatures. This step is part of the Cannibalization Wizard - Urgent with Requisition process. 1 Type the CDI signature in the removal field from source. 2 On the Privilege Login, type your Login ID and Password, and then click OK. 3 Type the CDI signature in the install field of target aircraft. 4 On the Privilege Login, type the CDI Login ID and Password, and then click OK. 5 Click Next. The Cannibalization Work Order Fill In dialog box appears. 6 Go to Step 5 (see "Step 5 - Cannibalization Work Order Fill In" on page 390). 390 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Step 5 - Cannibalization Work Order Fill In This window describes what has transpired during steps 2 through 3. The description block states that the component is cannibalized for the target aircraft with the DDSN, system reason, work center, and date. This step is the final part of the Cannibalization Wizard - Urgent with Requisition process. 1 Verify the entries and click Finish. The Building Cannibalization Work Order dialog box appears showing the percentage of the occurring building process. Once complete, the CM WO MCN and JCN Assignments response box appears. 2 Click OK and respond to the Print prompt accordingly. The Active Work Order Query window appears listing the target MCN to be completed. 3 Right-click the MCN, choose Update and select Repair. 4 Complete the necessary fields: Transaction, Action, and Malfunction codes. 5 Enter the worker's signature. In the Privilege Login, type your Login ID and Password, and then click OK. 6 Enter the CDI signature. In the Privilege Login, type your Login ID and Password, and then click OK. 7 Enter the Maintenance Control signature. In the Privilege Login, type your Login ID and Password, and then click OK. 8 On the Aircraft VED window, click Refresh. This process attaches an Incomplete Cannibalization icon the Cannibalization Authorized icon next to on the Aircraft VED. Finally, the cannibalization work order for the source aircraft is initiated with its new MCN and JCN assignments. 9 Click OK when the MCN and JCN Assignments dialog box appears. 10 Click Close to return to the previous window.
