Unformatted text preview: 2 Go the Utilities menu, choose ButtonLaser Tools, and select Retrieve Data from ButtonLaser. 3 The ButtonLaser File Reconciliation window appears displaying the MacSema, Inc. Status Window as it retrieves data from the ButtonLaser Reader. 4 At the prompt informing you that the part data was successfully received from the ButtonLaser, click OK. 5 To display/compare serial number differences from the ButtonLaser Reader and OOMA database, right-click and select Display SERNO differences. -orClick on the icon. 134 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 6 If there are no differences between the ButtonLaser Reader and the OOMA database, at the prompt 'The Serial Numbers in the ButtonLaser file match the Serial Numbers in the database', click OK. 7 If there are differences between the ButtonLaser Reader and the OOMA database, the Serial Number Update window appears. 8 To update the serial number from the ButtonLaser Reader, right-click and select Update Selected Serial Numbers. -orClick on the icon to overwrite the OOMA database information from the ButtonLaser Reader. 9 To update the serial number from the OOMA database, clear the data on the ButtonLaser Reader, send the correct data to the ButtonLaser Reader, and update the Contact Memory Button for that component. From the Inventory Explorer 1 Open the Inventory Explorer (see "How to Access the Inventory Explorer" on page 193). 2 Expand the aircraft or assembly WUC/UNS structure and select the appropriate WUC/UNS identified by a HAS PART NUM icon 3 Click the Create Inventory button . . -orRight-click the WUC/UNS and select Create Inventory.
