Unformatted text preview: The ButtonLaser File Reconciliation window appears when you select the Retrieve Data from ButtonLaser option. This window displays the components' serial number, CAGE, Part Number, WUC/UNS, and Position Code under the ButtonLaser File tab. There is also a command button (Read from ButtonLaser). For procedures, see Retrieve Data from ButtonLaser (on page 133). Communication Settings The Communications Settings option is accessed through Configuration Management, Utilities Menu and enables you to set/view the serial port, baud rate and view the mode used during setup of the ButtonLaser Reader. 1 From the NALCOMIS OMA Window, open Configuration Management (see "How to Access the Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 2 Go to the Utilities menu, choose ButtonLaser Tools, and select Communications Settings. 3 The ButtonLaser Communication Settings dialog box appears with the required settings. 4 View or modify the settings and then click OK. ButtonLaser Communications Settings The ButtonLaser Communications Settings dialog box appears when you select the Communications Settings option. The dialog box contains three data fields: Port, Baud, and View Mode. There are also three command buttons (OK, Cancel, and Help). For procedures, see Communication Settings (on page 135). Clear Data from ButtonLaser The Clear Data from ButtonLaser option is accessed through Configuration Management, Utilities menu. This process clears all data on the ButtonLaser Reader. 1 From the NALCOMIS OMA Window, open Configuration Management (see "How to Access the Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 136 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 2 Go to the Utilities menu, choose ButtonLaser Tools, and select Clear Data from ButtonLaser. 3 Click OK on the prompt informing you that 'all data has been cleared from the ButtonLaser'. Load Software to ButtonLaser The Load Software to ButtonLaser option is accessed through Configuration Management, Utilities menu. This process installs the MacSema software on the ButtonLaser Reader. 1 From the NALCOMIS OMA Window, open Configuration Management (see "How to Access the Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 2 Go to the Utilities menu, choose ButtonLaser Tools, and select Load Software to ButtonLaser. The MacSema, Inc. Status Window appears as the software is loaded into the ButtonLaser Reader and the window closes when the application is installed. About ButtonLaser The About ButtonLaser option is accessed through Configuration Management, Utilities menu.
