Logset explorer displays the complete oil usage

Unformatted text preview: nsumption Data The Oil Consumption Data tab on the Logset Explorer displays the complete oil usage history and oil consumption rates for the selected inventory item. For utilities and function available for this tab, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). Open the Logset Explorer to view the Logset Oil Consumption tab. Acceptance for Flight Tab The Acceptance for Flight tab on the Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book displays the A-Sheet as the default sub tab. Plane captains, maintenance control managers, and pilots-in-command use the A-Sheet to complete the requirements for acceptance of an aircraft for flight. This tab is also utilized to document previously completed A-Sheets during a contingency situation. Click the Contingency button Sheets to the selected aircraft. to add the A- ! Plane captains are responsible for keeping the aircraft's readiness and airworthiness by inspections, preservation, and other related maintenance tasks. ! Maintenance Control managers ensure that the aircraft are inspected, serviced, and configured properly, so that they are safe for flight. ! Pilots-in-command are responsible for inspecting and accepting the aircraft before flight. Their signatures on this form attest that the aircraft is safe and ready for flight. This sub tab has four buttons: Button Action Add Adds a new A-Sheet, which may affect the Daily/Turnaround Inspection of hot seating or refueling. For procedures on adding a new A-Sheet, see Add a New A-Sheet to the Acceptance for Flight Tab (on page 365). Delete Removes previously entered data, if no longer required. For procedures on deleting an A-Sheet, see Delete an ASheet from the Acceptance for Flight Tab (on page 365). Save Saves the entered data to the database. 364 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Button Action Contingency Adds previously completed A-Sheets as a contingency. Oil Consumption tab Provides access to the Oil Consumption tab where oil added entries are created, updated, and deleted. In order to enter oil added and calculate the oil consumption rate for an inventory item such as an engine or gearbox, the Oil Consumption Indicator must first be set. To set the Oil Consumption Indicator, see Setting the Oil Consumption Indicator (on page 360). Open Oil Consumption Provides access to the Oil Consumption tab where oil added entries are created, updated, and deleted. Refresh Retrieves the current data without closing the window. The following sub tabs are available on the Acceptance for Flight tab: Tab Description Daily Maint Record Displays the Received and Completion dates of the inspection, maintenance control's signature, MRC numbers, work center, and worker's signature.
