Unformatted text preview: the SE status list, click Print. 6 To view the list of work orders or to perform other tasks on the Support Equipment VED, click the applicable buttons or select the applicable options. 7 To return to the main NALCOMIS OMA application window, click Close twice. View List of Active Work Orders for SE Items The Queries option on the Support Equipment VED enables you to view either active or historical work orders for the selected inventory item. # To view the list of work orders for a specific SE item: 1 Open the Support Equipment VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 On the Support Equipment VED, right-click the SE icon and choose Queries, and select Active Work Orders or double-click the SE icon or the Serno entry. The system displays the Active Work Order Query window listing all the work orders against the selected SE item. For procedures, see Active Work Order Query (on page 419). 3 Click Close to return to the Support Equipment VED. # To view the list of work orders by column headings for all SE items: 1 Open the Support Equipment VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 On the Support Equipment VED, double-click the specific status column header: In Proc, AWA, IW, AWM, AWP, CDI, or MC. The system displays the Active Work Order Query listing work orders based on the column header you selected. 3 Click Close to return to the Support Equipment VED. For procedures, see Active Work Order Query (on page 419). See the following table for windows displayed when you double-click the column headers: Column Header Displays CF Req Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with CF Req requirements. QA Req Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with QA requirements. AWA Maintenance Control JCN/Work Center Assignment window for assigning JCN and work centers to work orders. IW Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with IW status. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 411 Column Header Displays AWM Active Work Order Query with the list of work orders with AWM requirements. AWP Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with AWP requirements. CDI Active Work Order Query window with list of active work orders awaiting CDI sign-off. MC Active Work Order Query window with list of active work orders awaiting Maintenance Control's approval. Inventory Remarks This window enables you to enter data to inform maintenance personnel of the general condition of a SE, ALSS or MME item that may affect its use and maintenance requirements. 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the item or Serno and select Update Remarks. 3 On the Inventory Remarks dialog box, type the narrative in the Remarks field. 4 Click OK to save the entries and return to the VED. 412 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA ALSS VED The ALSS VED displays the current status of all ALSS items assigned to your organization.
