It also reflects the actual location of the item as it appears on the tree view in the Inventory Explorer of the Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem. You can select an ALSS item to display the list of related work orders and counts by work order status. Personnel action on the work orders automatically updates the entries on the ALSS VED. You can also click Refresh to manually update the ALSS status list. The NALCOMIS OMA default window for the Maintenance Subsystem also displays Table Maintenance, Online Processing, and Mass Job Status menu selections. These menu selections contain task options relating to the organization's assets and database tables. For descriptions and procedures for these selections, see the followng topics: ! Table Maintenance (Work Order (see "Table Maintenance (Work Order)" on page 476)) ! Online Processing (on page 482) ! Mass Job Status (on page 493) 1 Open the ALSS VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 To find the ALSS item you want, click the Search button . -orScroll down the list. -orGo to the Tools menu and select Search. For procedures, see VED Search (on page 346). 3 When you right-click an ALSS icon or the Serno entry for the item, a shortcut menu appears with task selections for that item. View List of Active Work Orders for ALSS Items The Queries option on the ALSS VED enables you to view either active or historical work orders against a selected inventory item. # To view the list of work orders for a specific ALSS item: 1 Open the ALSS VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 On the ALSS VED, right-click the ALSS icon, choose Queries, and select Active Work Orders or double-click the ALSS icon or Serno entry. The system displays the Active Work Order Query window listing all the work orders against the selected ALSS item. For procedures, see Active Work Order Query (on page 419). 3 Click Close to return to the ALSS VED. # To view the list of work orders by column headings for all ALSS items: 1 Open the ALSS VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 On the ALSS VED, double-click the specific status column header: In Proc, AWA, IW, AWM, AWP, CDI, and MC.
