The Oil Consumption [NEW] dialog box appears. 5 In the Date Oil Added box, enter the date if other than the default date (current date/time) and then enter the remaining data in the dialog box. Note 1: For oil added entries made through ADB, the created oil consumption record appears in the Oil Consumption tab and is linked to the most current A-sheet. Note 2: For oil added entries made through the VED(s), a prompt appears reminding you to select the flight event (Flight Document or MFLT) for the oil added. 6 Enter the applicable signatures in the boxes and click one of the following: OK - adds the data Cancel - discontinues the add process Apply - continues the add process without interruption Help - displays the window help message Delete Oil Consumption Record The Delete Oil Consumption Record option enables you to delete oil consumption data from the oil consumption record for the selected inventory item. # To delete oil consumption data from the oil consumption record: 1 Open the specified VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 From the aircraft VED, right-click the applicable inventory item and select ADB for installed aircraft. -or- Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 359 Select Oil Consumption for uninstalled inventory item. 3 From SE/Uninstalled Equipment VED, right-click the applicable inventory item and select Oil Consumption. The Oil Consumption window appears with the associated inventory item properties and three command buttons: Oil Consumption Properties, Create Oil Consumption Record, and Delete Oil Consumption Record. 4 Select the applicable inventory item that you want to delete and click the Delete Oil Consumption Record button . -orRight-click the applicable inventory item and select Delete Oil Consumption Record. 5 At the delete prompt, click one of the following: 6 Yes - confirms the deletion process. The entries are removed from the Oil Consumption window.
