Contingency Processing (on page 469) WUC Component Selection This dialog box appears to enable you to select the appropriate component in cases where the WUC consists of multiple positions. Select the appropriate position and click OK. For procedures, see WUC/UNS Selection (on page 350). Delete a Work Order with no JCN Assignment The system enables you to delete a work order that has not yet been assigned a JCN. This may be a duplicate work order, an incorrect one, or one that is no longer valid. Deleting this type work order removes it completely from the database. 1 For procedures on retrieving a work order, see Maintenance Control JCN/Work Center Assignment (on page 349). 2 On the Maintenance Control JCN/Work Center Assignment window, use the arrow buttons on the toolbar to locate the work order you want to delete. 3 Click the work order and go to the Actions menu and select Delete WO or click the Delete Work Order button . The Delete Request response box appears to confirm the delete action. Click Yes to delete. 4 Click Close to return to the VED. View List of Active Work Orders for Aircraft The Queries option on Aircraft VED shortcut menu enables you to view either active or historical work orders against a selected aircraft serial number. # To view the list of work orders for specific aircraft: 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the aircraft icon, choose Queries, and select Active Work Orders. -orDouble-click the aircraft icon or Modex entry. For procedures, see Active Work Order Query (on page 419). 3 Click Close to return to the Aircraft VED. If you are assigned to work center 020 or 040, you can query the Aircraft VED. The column headers on the Aircraft VED act as criteria buttons for retrieving work orders by status. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 353 # To view the list of work orders by column headings for all aircraft: 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Double-click the specific column header: CF REQ, QA REQ, In Proc, AWA, IW, AWM, AWP, CDI, or MC. 3 The system displays the Active Work Order Query listing for all aircraft based on the column heading you selected. For procedures, see Active Work Order Query (on page 419). The following table lists the column headers and the windows that appear when you double-click the column headers: Column Header Remarks CF Req Displays the Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with CF Req requirements. QA Req Displays the Active Work Order Query window with the list of work orders with QA requirements. AWA Displays the Maintenance Control JCN/Work Center Assignment window for assigning JCN and work centers to work orders.
