Unformatted text preview: ep option on the Inventory Explorer Task Plans tab enables you to activate a previously suspended task. These tasks are shown on the lower portion of the window under the Task for a selected inventory item. 1 Open the Inventory Explorer (see "How to Access the Inventory Explorer" on page 193). 2 Select the inventory item in the tree view and click the Task Plans tab. 3 Right-click the specific task plan and select Activate Task Plan, or click the Activate Suspended Task Plan button . The system automatically sets the task plan step in Active mode and displays ACTV in both the upper and lower areas of the window under the Plan Status and Status columns, respectively. Chapter 4 Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem 227 Cancel Task Plan Step The Cancel Task Plan Step option on the Inventory Explorer Task Plans tab enables you to cancel task plan steps on a selected inventory item. 1 Open the Inventory Explorer (see "How to Access the Inventory Explorer" on page 193). 2 Select the inventory item in the tree view and click the Task Plans tab. 3 Right-click the specific task plan and select Cancel Task Plan Step or click the Cancel Task Plan Step button . The system automatically deletes the phase inspection and its defined task plan step. Usage Records Tab Note: Only the Baseline Manager (BLM) has the capability to create and delete any item that does not have an established baseline related to Task, Task Plans, and Usage Records. Once the BLM completes the inventory item's baseline information, it becomes available for use at the foundation level (OMA, IMA, and Depot). The Inventory Explorer Usage Records tab displays two areas: ! The upper area displays a list of usage records used to collect usage data for the selected inventory item. For instance, if the Usage Record selected is FLT (Naval Flight Record Sheet), the Usage Data in the lower area of the Usage Records tab displays all the usage parameters (example: AFH, landing, hoists, number of rounds) associated with the FLT. ! The lower area displays the Usage Data that shows the usage parameters being updated by the Usage Record. As you click each Usage Record, the usage data shows the corresponding usage parameters being updated. The Usage Records tab enables authorized users to create, view, modify, or delete usage records. To perform these tasks, see the applicable topic listed under "In This Section and "See Also". Also, when you right-click any item on the tab, a shortcut menu appears with common utilities and functions. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129).
