An Exception record has been written and the work order has been completed without inventory record created for the installed part number. 5 Click OK on the API Message prompt. 6 Click OK when the API Install prompt appears. 7 Click OK to close the Work Order Update - Installed window. Note 1: While in contingency, the system assigns the current date and time as the default in the Date Installed field while installing a life limited component. This installation date and time must be changed using the actual date and time the actual installation occurred on the contingency work order and on the Inventory Properties of the component in the Inventory Explorer of Configuration Management to capture the accurate usage. Note 2: To delete incorrect data in the Removed record that has not been signed by the CDI, right-click anywhere in the Removed dialog box and choose Delete and select Remove_Delete. Note 3: To undo incorrect data in the Removed record that has been signed by the CDI, right-click anywhere in the Removed dialog box and choose Delete, and select Undo Remove. In both options, click Yes on the Attention response box to delete or undo the removed record. WO Update - Installed, when Component does not exist in the database When the component does not exist in the database, an empty Installed Fields dialog box appears: 1 Choose the part item from the Maintenance Uninstalled Items dialog box and click Select. 2 Enter the CAGE, Part Number, Serial Number, and the correct date if other than the default. 3 An API Message warns you that the CAGE is invalid. 4 Click OK. 5 Enter the CDI Signature: On the Privilege Login, type your login ID and password, and then click OK. Maintenance Uninstalled Items This dialog box contains a list of all part items belonging to the same WUC/UNS that are available for reinstallation. This box appears whenever you select Installed from the shortcut menu during the Update processing of a work order. The part items may be located in the PRIMARY or INBOX group selection.
