TD Work Order This dialog box displays data relevant to the selected TD being complied with. Click OK once the TD is successfully validated. Basic Work Order Update The detailed work order appears as the default window and enables you to update or delete an existing work order, order material requirements, change aircraft status, view technical directive data, or complete the work order. # To update or delete an existing work order, order material requirements, change aircraft status, view technical directive data, or complete the work order: 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Double-click the specific Modex or Serno on the VED to open the Active Work Order Query list. 422 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 3 Right-click the work order record on the Active Work Order Query list, choose Update, and select Repair. 4 On the Basic Work Order Update window, enter the appropriate data in the applicable boxes. The Transaction and Action Codes determines which section of the work order will be available for the update process. 5 Right-click anywhere in the shaded area above the Discrepancy box to display options that are the primary functions that can be derived from this window. For procedures, see the applicable topic listed under "In This Section" or "See Also." Note 1: The Technical Directive option will be available only when the selected work order type is a TD. Note 2: An entry in the Assy Desc box appears only when a MME is installed on the aircraft and selection of the specific WUC/UNS. 6 Once the sections of the work order are completed, type your login ID in the Corrected By box and complete the Login Privilege response box as the worker, and then click OK. 7 At this point, if available the CDI/QAR can sign it; otherwise, click OK to close the work order and return to the Active Work Order Query window. This process moves the work order to the CDI/QAR Queue of the Online Processing. If the CDI/QAR signs the work order, the work order moves to the Maintenance Control Queue of the Online Processing. 8 At the print prompt, respond accordingly. Modify a Work Order This is one of the tasks that can be performed while on the Basic Work Order Update (on page 421) window. All sections of the work order require a signature when the modification is completed. 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Double-click the specific Modex or Serno on the VED to open the Active Work Order Query window. 3 On the Active Work Order Query window, right-click the specific work order and select Update and the work order section. 4 On the Basic Work Order Update window, enter changes in the data fields. 5 Type a brief narrative of the corrections in the Corrective Action block. 6 Type your name in the Corrected By, Inspected By, or Maintenance Control field, as applicable. 7 Type your Login ID a...
