Chapter 4 Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem 269 Assembly Explorer - Procedures Once an assembly is created in the Assembly Catalog, the sub-structure for that assembly can be created in the Assembly Explorer. Work in this area is considered to be baseline data manipulation and can only be accomplished when there is no inventory present. The Assembly Explorer enables authorized personnel to create subWUC/UNSs, delete WUC/UNSs, and view or modify WUC/UNS properties for a created assembly. Note: Personnel at the squadron or unit level can view only part number, usage parameter, task, task definition, TMR, and EOC. Before performing any task in the Assembly Explorer, determine which type components you want displayed ---Tracked or Untracked, and to which assembly a WUC/UNS is to be added or deleted. Depending upon the type components you want displayed, a shortcut menu that appears when you right-click the item in the tree view will display different options: !
