When a work order is initiated against a specific aircraft with status of P (partial) or D (down), an EOC is attached to the work order. The EOC and sub-WUC/UNS relationship will affect the aircraft's readiness when the Flight Subsystem Scheduler is viewed. For procedures, see the applicable topic listed under "In This Section." Create Equipment Operational Capability Code The Create Equip Operational Capability option on the EOC tab in the Assembly Explorer or WUC/UNS dialog box enables you to create EOC to a selected sub-WUC/UNS. For Assembly Explorer: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click the sub-WUC/UNS (assembly or component) and click the EOC tab. 3 Click the Create Equip Operational Capability button . -orRight-click on the blank area of the EOC tab and select Create EOC. The Mission Essential Subsystem Matrix [NEW] dialog box appears with the MESM tab. 4 Select the appropriate EOC from the list and the related Training code, if required. For WUC/UNS dialog box: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Right-click the sub-WUC/UNS and select WUC/UNS Properties. The WUC/UNS [ ] dialog box appears. 3 On the Equip Operational Capability tab, click Create Equip Operational Capability. -orRight-click on the blank area of the EOC tab and select Create EOC. The Mission Essential Subsystem Matrix [NEW] dialog box appears with the MESM tab. 4 Select the appropriate EOC from the list and the related Training code, if required. Modify Equipment Operational Capability Code The Equip Operational Capability Properties option in the Assembly Explorer or sub-WUC/UNS dialog box enables you to view or modify the EOC and Training Code associated with a sub-WUC/UNS (system, assembly, or component). # To view or modify the EOC and Training Code in the Assembly Explorer: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click the sub-WUC/UNS (assembly or component) and click the EOC tab. or right-click 3 Click the Equip Operational Capability button the specific EOC and description and select Equip Operational Capability Properties.
