Configuration Update Worksheet (see "Update Configuration Worksheet" on page 201) Unassign a Part Number The Unassign Part No option on the Part No tab in the Assembly Explorer enables you to remove a previously created part number against a sub-WUC/UNS. 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Right-click the specific sub-WUC/UNS in the tree view to display its applicable part numbers. 3 Click the Part No. tab on the WUC/UNS dialog box. 4 On the Part No. tab, right-click the specific part number and select Unassign Part No, or click the part number and No. Unassign Part The assigned part number is removed from the WUC/UNS. However, the part number and its attributes remain in the Parts Catalog. Chapter 4 Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem 277 Show Part Number Compatibility The Part Compatibility option on the Part No tab in the Assembly Explorer and WUC/UNS dialog box enables you to check if the selected part number can be installed in a different type aircraft or equipment. # To check to see if the selected part number can be installed in a different type aircraft or equipment in the Assembly Explorer: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 On the Part No. tab, right-click the part and select Part Compatibility, or click the Part Compatibility button . The Part No Compatibility dialog box appears. 3 Scroll through the WUC/UNS list and click the enabled WUC/UNS (colored icons) to view the relevant part numbers. The Compatibility check box is selected. 4 Click Apply.
