Unformatted text preview: Activates an inactive configuration. Turn Eshadow Logging On Activates Eshadow logon. Turn Eshadow Logging Off Activates Eshadow logoff. # To add a new configuration: 1. Go to the Actions menu and select Add or click Add. The system displays the Apply and Cancel Apply buttons. 2. Enter the data required for the configuration. 3. Check the applicable option for IMA System and SUP Interface and click Apply. -or4. To cancel the changes before saving, click Cancel Apply. 5. To save the new configuration, click Save. # To delete a configuration: 1. Select the configuration record, then go to the Actions menu and select Delete or click Delete. 2. Click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action. 502 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA # To activate an existing inactive configuration: Select the configuration record and click Set Active. # To view a configuration: Select the configuration record and click View. # To activate or deactivate Eshadow: 1. To activate Eshadow, click Turn Shadow Logging On. 2. To deactivate Eshadow, click Turn Shadow Logging Off. 3. Eshadow logging automatically turns off after one hour. DDSN Range Update This window enables you to access the DDSN table, which contains document dates and serial numbers of NMCS & PMCS and non-NMCS & PMCS requisitions. It enables you to enter the assigned document number ranges for NMCS/PMCS and non-NMCS/PMCS requisitions. These document numbers are automatically assigned and incremented during electronic interface. Note 1: In a multi-organization environment, each organization residing in the same server must establish its own DDSN range. Note 2: To turn off the DDSN auto-assign capability and work in the manual mode, you must type three R's (RRR) in the NMCS/PMCS Next Doc Assigned field, and four R's (RRRR) in the non-NMCS/PMCS Next Doc Num Assigned fields. Note 3: When on a detachment, you must change Rs' to read Ds' in the fields where it calls for and establishes the DDSN Range as required by the supporting supply activity. Note 4: For the Cannibalization Wizard to work properly, the DDSN auto-assign capability must be turned on. 1 Open the Material Selection Menu (see "How to Access Material Control Subsystem" on page 495). 2 On the Material Selection Menu, click DDSN Range Update from the Table Maintenance group list and click OK. 3 On the DDSN Range Update dialog box, select the appropriate Organization Code if in a multi-org environment, if not, proceed to the specific fields and update them as necessary. 4 To save the changes, go to the File menu and select Save or click Save. 5 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu.
