Unformatted text preview: SMQ to a Task Code 1 Open the Personnel Subsystem. (see "How to Access the Personnel Subsystem" on page 511) 2 On the Personnel Information window, go to the Table Maintenance menu and select Task - SMQ Assignment. The Task - SMQ Assignment window appears with a list of all SMQs assigned to all task codes. 3 Click the specific task code from the Task Code list to activate the Add/Remove button. 4 Click Add/Remove. The Multi-Select-Task Code List box appears with a listing of all SMQs that can be assigned to the selected Task Code. 5 Click the SMQs individually to assign one SMQ at a time, or click Add All to assign all SMQs at one time. The SMQs move to the To box for the selected Task Code. 6 For more information, see Maintain Task – SMQ Assignment Table (see "Maintain Task - SMQ Assignment Table" on page 527). Note: The Add All button assigns all the SMQs to the selected Task Code but only the first 10 appears on the Task - SMQ Assignment table. Multi-Select - Task Code List This dialog box enables you to add or remove SMQs on a selected Task Code in the Task - SMQ Assignment window. The SMQ authorizes a user to perform a specific task identified by the Task Code. For procedures, see the following topics: ! Add SMQ to a Task Code (on page 528) ! Remove SMQ from a Task Code (on page 528) Remove SMQ from a Task Code 1 Open the Personnel Subsystem. (see "How to Access the Personnel Subsystem" on page 511) 2 On the Personnel Information window, go to the Table Maintenance menu and select Task - SMQ Assignment. The Task - SMQ Assignment window appears with a list of all Task Codes and their assigned SMQs. 3 Click the specific Task Code from the Task - Assignment table to activate the Add/Remove SMQ button. 4 Click Add/Remove SMQ. Chapter 7 Personnel Subsystem 529 The Multi-Select -Task Code List dialog box appears with a list of all SMQs in the From block and the SMQs assigned to the Task Code in the To block. 5 Click each SMQs individually to move it from the To block to the From block, or click Remove All to remove all the assigned SMQs from the Task Code. Note: The Remove All button deletes all the assigned SMQs except those as a permanent part of the Recommended SMQ/Task Assignments. 6. Click OK. Find a Specific Task Code 1 Open the Personnel Subsystem. (see "How to Access the Personnel Subsystem" on page 511) 2 On the Personnel Information window, go to the Table Maintenance menu and select Task - SMQ Assignment. The Task - SMQ Assignment window appears with a list of all task codes and their descriptions. 3 On the Task - SMQ Assignment window, go to the Actions menu and select Goto. The Task dialog box appears. 4 Enter the task code and click GoTo. The pointer moves to the entered task code in the list. 5 Click Close to return to the Personnel Information window.
