This dialog box enables you to view the serial number of the component
that is being removed from the source aircraft (CM). Serial number XXX
is not acceptable. The CDI signatures for removal and installation can be
left blank if the CDI is not available to do so. However, take Note that the
process will continue but the work orders used will be reopened to
complete the removal and installation with the proper CDI signatures.

This dialog box enables you to view the information that was ordered, the
DDSN, and the original MCN in the Description block. The following
fields can be modified: Description, System Reason, Work Center, and

The Building Cannibalization Work Center dialog box appears. The
CM WO MCN and JCN response box displays the new MCN and
JCN for the source aircraft. 2 Click OK on the CM WO MCN and JCN Assignments response box.
3 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly.
4 Click Close to return to the Aircraft VED.

The Cannibalization Wizard - Urgent with Requisition being Ordered
process begins when you click Yes on the Cannibalization Wizard Setup
response box. For background information, see Cannibalization Wizard
(on page 379). This cannibalization process enables you to change the job
status of a work order from AWM to IW, remove the component, order
the replacement part, and transfer the DDSN to the source aircraft.
This wizard is a four-step process with each step involving multiple steps.
Follow the procedures in steps 1 through 4 for the topics listed below.
The default window displays the Material Required dialog box that needs
to be completed before you can continue.
1 On the Material Required dialog box, right-click in the Description
block, choose Failed/Required, select Order Repairable and/or
The Order Repairable Part or Order Consumable Part dialog box
appears. 2 Enter the CAGE and Part Number.
3 Enter the reference/nomenclature, if available.
4 Click Apply and then OK.
The Material Required dialog box reappears with information on the
part being ordered.
5 Click Next.
