Scheduler Aircrew Activity (see "Scheduler Crew Activity" on page 76) See Also Maintain Schedule Report.................................................. 71 70 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Create Cancelled Documents for Outdated Events This option on the Scheduler window enables you to create cancelled flight documents against outdated events much faster and easier than the actual cancellation of a flight process. These outdated events are those flight events that are on the scheduler but were never flown. Outdated events that are on the scheduler cannot be deleted, however, they must be cancelled to remove the documents as completed or bona fide cancelled flights. 1 Open the Scheduler (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). 2 Go to the Actions menu and select Create Cancelled Documents for Outdated Events or click the Create Cancelled Documents for Outdated Events button . 3 The Outdated Scheduled Events window appears with the Simulator Selection Error response box as the default. Click OK. 4 On the Outdated Scheduled Events window, select the following: event, aircrew, the appropriate TMR for cancelled or aborted flight, and the appropriate aircraft, and then click Save. 5 The Cancelled Flight Document Data prompt appears with the prefilled data that were selected previously. Respond accordingly. 6 A positive response causes the Cancelled Outdated Events prompt box to appear with the assigned flight document. Click OK. The previous window reappears to enable you to create a new cancelled flight. Outdated Scheduled Events This window lists all outdated flight events that are on the Scheduler but were never flown. For procedures, see Create Cancelled Documents for Outdated Events (on page 70). Delete a Flight Event The Delete Event option enables you to delete a flight event in its entirety if the flight event is still within its creation date. Past events, however, can no longer be deleted. They must be cancelled as an outdated event using the Create Cancelled Documents for Outdated Events option. 1 Open the Flight Subsystem (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). 2 On the Scheduler window, select the current or future event that you want to delete from the drop-down list.
