This window appears when you go to the Flight Subsystem, choose Flight Document or Scheduler, then Approval, and select Flight Document Approval. The window displays two areas: The upper area displays the ORG and a list of all completed flight documents for approval. The first row highlights the Document Number, Modex, Date, Approved mark, Status, and A/C or Msn CMDR Sig. The A/C or Msn CMDR Signature column may be blank when you respond No while on the Login Signature response box and while on the Flight Document - Aircraft tab. The name that appears under the A/C or Msn CMDR Sig column indicates that either the Aircraft or Mission Commander has signed the flight document as reflected in the A/C or Msn CMDR Sig field in the lower portion of the window. You cannot approve a flight document without an A/C or Msn CMDR signature. The flight document must be signed before approving. To enter a signature, perform the following steps: 1 On the Saving Flight document prompt, enter the A/C or Msn CMDR signature and grade, and then click Yes. 2 On the A/C or Msn CMDR Signature dialog box, click Cancel. This process adds the signature of the person logged on the system as the A/C or Msn CMDR and considers the flight document approved. The lower area corresponds to the selected flight document from the upper area and shows details as you click the Aircraft, Departure, and Aircrew tabs. The button on the top right of the Aircraft tab indicates that the flight document is ready for approval. The following tabs and command buttons are available: Aircraft Approved Displays aircraft data for a specific document number.
