Initiate a Conditional Inspection for Aircraft 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the Modex, choose Initiate, then Inspections/Removals, and select Aircraft Inspections. 3 On the Inspections - Aircraft window, enter the Modex and BUNO/Serno for a specific aircraft. For all aircraft, leave the BUNO/Serno field blank. 4 Check the Conditional box and click Retrieve. The lower portion of the window displays all the inspections applicable to the criteria used. 5 Select the specific inspection and click Initiate. The Control JCN appears alongside the Print prompt. 6 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly. 7 Click Retrieve and repeat steps 5 and 6 to initiate another inspection work order for the same aircraft, or click Clear to query another aircraft. 8 Click Close to return to the Aircraft VED. Initiate a Preservation/Depreservation Inspection for Aircraft 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the Modex, choose Initiate, then Inspections/Removals, and select Aircraft Inspections. 3 On the Inspections - Aircraft window, enter the Modex and BUNO/Serno for a specific aircraft. The Control JCN appears alongside the Print prompt. 7 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly. 8 Click Retrieve and follow repeat steps 2 to 8 to initiate another preservation work order. 9 Click Close to return to the Aircraft VED. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 451 Inspections - Support Equipment The Inspections option on the Support Equipment VED enables you to query and initiate a work order inspection (near due, conditional, or preservation) against a specific SE. The window has options to check ALL, ALSS, or Mission Mounted Equipment box to go directly to the applicable Inspections window without going into the separate VED. It enables you to set the criteria for the inspection and other options. Inspections are initiated individually by serial number and Assy Cd.
