For a detailed explanation of columnar headings, acronyms, and/or computations, see the Maintenance Data System (MDS) Reports, CNAFINST 4790.2. . 402 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA MAINT-5 Report (Maintenance Man-hours Report) This report reflects the direct maintenance man-hour per flying hour (DMMH/FLTHR) for aircraft and maintenance man-hours to other assemblies assigned to your organization for a selected reporting period. The report determines the following: ! The aircraft that required a large amount of direct maintenance manhours and the type maintenance was performed. ! Maintenance man-hours spent per aircraft as opposed to the number of hours flown. ! Ratio of look phase man-hours to fix phase man-hours per type of inspection. ! Ratio of unscheduled to scheduled man-hours. ! Continuous determination of which aircraft is a high man-hour consumer. ! Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 403 MAINT-6 Report (Detailed Data Extract Report) This report reflects the detailed data derived from maintenance level 1 work orders completed during the selected reporting period. The report is provided in an electronic format that can be used by supervisors in performing ad hoc queries and analyzing equipment capability, reliability, and maintainability. The report determines the following: ! Troublesome systems or sub-systems. ! Recurring problems against various systems or sub-systems. ! Cost in man-hours of maintaining particular type equipment based on comparison of man-hours used in the upkeep of each specific type of equipment. ! Ranking of maintenance actions by category. ! Measure of maintenance effort attributable to prevention and treatment of corrosion. ! Tracking of removal and replacement items and part numbers of repairable parts/assemblies. ! Amount of time and effort expended on maintenance where there is no malfunction or alleged malfunction. ! Lack of training or test equipment. ! Technical directive actions for particular WUC/UNS, Assy Code, Serial Number, etc. ! Number of abort malfunctions caused by mechanical failures. ! Number of items processed and man-hour expended. !
