Unformatted text preview: nization residing on the server must establish its own project codes and priorities. 1 Open the Material Selection Menu (see "How to Access Material Control Subsystem" on page 495). 2 Click Project Code from the Table Maintenance group list and click OK. # To add a new Project Code: 1 Go to the Actions menu and select Add or click Add. 2 Type the Project Code, Priority Code, Range Indicator and Up/Down Indicator. 3 Leave the Default field to Y to enable completion of some procedures. For instance, the Cannibalization Wizard - Consumables Only process requires that the Project Codes Table Default field be set to Y for the cannibalization process to work properly. 4 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu. # To delete a Project Code: 1 Position the cursor on the row you want to delete and go to the Actions menu and select Delete or click Delete. 2 Click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action. 3 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu. # To modify a Project Code: 1 Enter changes on the fields as required. 2 To save the changes, go to the File menu and select Save or click Save. 3 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu. Full Work Order Query This window enables you to query a Turn-In Work Order that has been transmitted to IMA. 1 Open the Material Selection Menu (see "How to Access Material Control Subsystem" on page 495). 2 On the Material Selection Menu, click Full Requirement from the IMA Queries group list and click OK. 504 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 3 Type the MCN of the Turn-In Work Order. 4 Go to the Actions menu and select Retrieve or click Retrieve Data. The system displays the Turn-In Work Order information. 5 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu. Component Status This window enables you identify the IMA component for which status information is to be displayed. 1 Open the Material Selection Menu (see "How to Access Material Control Subsystem" on page 495). 2 On the Material Selection Menu, click Component Status from the IMA Queries group list and click OK. 3 Type the MCN, FGC, CAGE/PN or NIIN of the component. 4 Go to the Actions menu and select Retrieve or click Retrieve Data. The system displays the IMA component information. 5 To query another IMA component, click New and repeat steps 3 and 4. 6 Click Close to return to the Material Selection Menu. Cross Reference Data This window enables you to identify a part number for which a CAGE that identifies the source/provider of the material is required. 1 Open the Material Selection Menu (see "How to Access Material Control Subsystem" on page 495). 2 On the Material Selection Menu, click Cross Reference Data from the IMA Queries group list and click OK. 3 Type the Part Number, go to the Actions menu and select Retrieve or click Retrieve Data.
