Unformatted text preview: Inventory Subcomponents. Inventory Details Displays the highest inventory item, primarily the aircraft, to which the selected item in the tree view is attached. When an aircraft is selected, any aircraft status and remarks appears in the lower portion of the Inventory Details block to inform maintenance managers of its special situation. When checked, the Complete box indicates that all mandatory subcomponents against the selected item are installed. Inventory Subcomponents Displays the components attached to the selected item in the tree view. These components are identified and marked as complete or not complete. The checked box in the Complete column indicates that all mandatory subcomponents are attached to the item. Also, when you right-click any item in the Inventory Subcomponents box, a shortcut menu appears with common utilities and functions. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). 218 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Tasks Tab The Task tab enables you to create, view, cancel, suspend, or deconfigure a task. Note: Only the Baseline Manager (BLM) has the capability to create and delete any item that does not have an established baseline related to Task, Task Plans, and Usage Records. Once the BLM completes the inventory item's baseline information, it becomes available for use at the foundation level (OMA, IMA, and Depot). It also displays information for each item such as task description, priority, status, deadline, time/date remaining, task class, task subclass, and the item Assy Cd, WUC/UNS, and position. When you select an aircraft/MODEX, all tasks with active status are displayed. Tasks are individual scheduled (special) maintenance, conditional inspection, and unscheduled inspection that are applicable to each WUC/UNS item. Task Plans are those tasks applicable to Phase Maintenance. To display certain tasks, check the applicable box located at the lower area of the Tasks tab. Show pending tasks Lists tasks that are defined and assigned to inventory items but yet to be initiated. Show historical tasks only Lists tasks that were completed. Show tasks on subcomponents Lists tasks assigned to subcomponents regarding their removal/repair. Show hist tasks for logset delete Lists completed tasks that can be removed from logset display (limited to conditional, acceptance/transfer, or preservation task subclasses). Also, when you right-click any item on the tab, a shortcut menu appears with common utilities and functions.
