The aircraft, equipment and personnel assigned to the detachment moves to the PRIMARY selection group on each appropriate tab. If the return is a full return, the detachment is automatically deleted. 170 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Offload a Detachment Return Procedures for offloading a detachment return are similar to the procedures for deploying an initial detachment or an augment. The returning detachment data is saved to a file and then sent to a medium (tape or e-mail). For more information, see Deploy a Disconnected Detachment (on page 165). Save Baseline Changes to a File From the Group Explorer, you can right-click the designated detachment, choose Detachment Functions, and select Save Baseline Changes to a File. This option enables you to save all baseline changes pushed down by the BLM, which updated the squadron (home guard) database to a file and then sent to a tape to complete the Baseline Sweep Out process. # To save all baseline changes pushed by the BLM: 1 Open the Group Explorer (see "How to Access the Group Explorer" on page 151). 2 Right-click the designated detachment that you want to forward the changes to, choose Detachment Functions, and select Save Baseline Changes to a File. 3 At the Messenger Service prompts stating the Baseline Sweep started and finished, respond accordingly. Send Baseline Changes to the Detachment Server On the Squadron (Home Guard) server, baseline changes pushed down by BLM to update the squadron database must be forwarded to the Detachment server to update the detachment database. This process is accomplished in the same manner as deploying a disconnected detachment except that the Report Generator and Detachment Reports are not required. From the Squadron (Home Guard) server, the changes are saved to a file and then sent to a tape or E-mail. This process is called Baseline Sweep Out. For procedures, click the following topics: ! Both the parent organization (home guard) and detachment are responsible for saving the created detachment to a file.
