The Oil Consumption [NEW] dialog box appears. 4 Enter the required information in the boxes and click OK. Note 1: For oil added entries made through the ADB, the created oil consumption record appears in the Oil Consumption tab and is linked to the most current A-sheet. Note 2: For oil added entries created through the maintenance VEDs, a prompt appears reminding the user to select the flight event (NAVFLIR or MFLT document) for the oil added. Select the applicable flight event and click OK. The oil consumption record appears in the Oil Consumption tab. 5 In the Plane Captain signature box, enter the Plane Captain's login and password as required. 362 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 6 In the Maint Control signature box, enter the Maintenance Control Manager’s login and password as required. The Oil Consumption Properties option enables you to modify existing oil usage entries in the oil consumption record. Note: After an oil consumption entry has both the Plane Captain and Maintenance Control signatures, it is no longer modifiable. # To modify existing oil usage entries in the oil consumption record: 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342) (for Uninstalled VED for uninstalled engines and gearboxes). 2 For aircraft installed inventory items, select the applicable aircraft, right-click in the tree view, and select ADB. For uninstalled inventory items, open the Uninstalled VED, select the applicable engine or gearbox, right-click in the tree view, and select Oil Consumption. The Oil Consumption window appears. 3 Select the applicable inventory item and click the Oil Consumption Properties button . -orRight-click and select Oil Consumption Properties. The Oil Consumption (Properties) dialog box appears. 4 Modify the existing information as required and click OK. The updated oil consumption record appears in the Oil Consumption tab. The Delete Oil Consumption Record option enables you to delete an existing entry to the oil consumption record. # To delete an existing entry to the oil consumption record: 1 Open the Aircraft VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342) (or Uninstalled VED for uninstalled engines and gearboxes). 2 For aircraft installed inventory items, select the applicable aircraft, right-click in the tree view, and select ADB. For uninstalled inventory items, open the Uninstalled VED, select the applicable engine or gearbox, right-click in the tree view, and select Oil Consumption. The Oil Consumption window appears. 3 Select the applicable inventory item and click the Delete Oil Consumption Record button . -orRight-click and select Delete Oil Consumption Record. 4 At the delete prompt, click Yes.
