Unformatted text preview: y. 6 Click Close to return to the CDI/QAR window. 486 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Reject a work order The CDI/QAR can reject a work order for reasons deemed necessary based on documentation errors, reinspection requirements, or validation of removed and installed items. The rejection process returns the work order to an active status to allow workers to review the maintenance and documentation performed. Note: Approved work orders cannot be rejected. On the Work Order Update – Basic Work Order window, click the Reject button located at the right of the window. The CDI/QAR Queue window reappears and the rejected work order is no longer available. This process returns the work order to the Active Work Order Query listing. For more information, see CDI/QAR Queue (on page 484). Reinduct a work order Reinduction is a process in which a work order is returned to the Active Work Order Query and enables a respective worker to review it for possible documentation/maintenance error or to clear/verify problem areas for any reason that the CDI/QAR deems necessary. 1 Double-click the work order or choose the work order and then click Select or go the Actions menu and select Select. The Work Order Update - Basic Work Order window appears. 2 Click the Reinduction button or go to the Actions menu and select Reinduction, or right-click the work order and then select Reinduction. The system clears the worker's signature and returns the work order to the Active Work Order Query list for processing. Validate a work order Validation is a process where the entries on a work order are verified to be correct per system built-in validation requirements. 1 Double-click the work order or choose the work order and then click Select or go to the Actions menu and select Select. The Work Order Update - Basic Work Order window appears. 2 Click the Check Validation button or go to the Actions menu and select Check Validation, or right-click anywhere above the discrepancy field, and then select Check Validation. The system validates all the entries for accuracy. Validation message(s) appear to prompt you of any errors and how to correct them. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 487 View Work Order Disapproval Remarks Only the CDI/QAR who originally signed off the work order can access the CDI/QAR Queue to determine what action to take.
