Unformatted text preview: NASN and MCWOAPP are assigned to you, you can initiate the following unscheduled maintenance work order types: ! For aircraft (all types), you can use (AD, AT, CT, DF, DM, ET, FO, HA, IA, QT, TM, TS, and WR). ! For SE, you can use (AD, AT, CP, CT, CM, OM, IA, QT, TS, and WR). ! For ALSS, you can use (AD, AT, CP, CT, CM, OM, FO, IA, QT, TS, and WR). ! For MME, you can use (AD, AT, CP, CT, CM, OM, FO, IA, TS, and WR). ! For Uninstalled Equipment, you can use (AD, AT, OM, and QT). To view the complete list of work order types, see Work Order Types (on page 36). Initiate Unscheduled Maintenance Work Order for Aircraft The Unscheduled Maintenance window appears when you choose Initiate and select Unscheduled from the shortcut menu that appears when you right-click the Modex item on the Aircraft VED. It enables you to initiate an unscheduled maintenance work order for aircraft. 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the item, choose Initiate, and select Unscheduled. 3 On the Unscheduled Maintenance window, enter the Type WO, and then press Tab or Enter. 4 Click the Initiate WO button select Initiate WO. or go to the Actions menu and The Unscheduled Maintenance data window appears with Modex, work center, and other data fields prefilled. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 445 5 Enter the work center code if other than the default. 6 Enter the appropriate aircraft status code. Note: SCIR impacted discrepancies initiated by aircrews using the Unscheduled Maintenance - Flight after their flights will not be accepted by the system. This causes an information message to appear informing the maintenance control manager to reassign the appropriate aircraft status. 7 Enter the WUC/UNS from the WUC/UNS Selection (on page 350) box. Note: Selecting aircraft status code P (Partial) automatically displays the WUC/UNS that partially affects aircraft capability. 8 Enter data on the remaining required fields and click Save to save the new work order. The MCN and JCN Assignment response box appears with the MCN and JCN assigned. Personnel who do not have an automatic JCN SMQ assignment will only refer to the MCN on the work orders they initiate. 9 Click OK and respond to the Print prompt accordingly. 10 To initiate another work order, click New and start from step 1. Note 1: The following type work orders may not require a Modex entry: AT, CM, CP, HA, OM, QT, and WR. Note 2: Work Request (WR) work orders in some instances may require recording a "Remove" in the Removed/Installed field. Note 3: Work order QT can only be initiated for a specific BUNO/Serno when the TD information exists in the database.
