Update Failed Part Record The Update Failed Part Record dialog box enables you to modify an existing material that has been identified as a consumable (index) that contributed to the discrepancy but not ordered. It displays the failed material data with requisition data. 1 First, for task overview, see Material Required (on page 435). 2 On the Update Failed Part Record window, modify any of the highlighted fields as needed, and then click OK. 3 Click Close to return to the Active Work Order Query window. Update Failed/Required Record The Update Failed/Required Record dialog box enables you to modify material requisition that has been identified as a consumable (index) and have been ordered as required material. 1 First, for task overview, see Material Required (on page 435). 2 On the Update Failed/Required Record window, modify any of the available fields as needed, and then click OK. 3 Click Close to return to the Active Work Order Query window. Delete Failed Part/Requisition Material The Delete Failed Part/Requisition Material dialog box enables you to delete a required or failed part item, or both. For task overview, see Material Required (on page 435). 1 On the Material Required window, right-click the entered data in the CAGE or Part Number field, choose Failed/Required, and select Delete. 2 The Delete Material Required dialog box appears. The type of part item (Required, Failed, or Both) is automatically selected. 3 Click OK and then click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action and return to the Material Required window. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 439 Delete Material Required This dialog box enables you to delete a required or failed part item, or both. For procedures, see Delete Failed Part/Requisition Material (on page 438). Sign-off a Work Order Signing-off a work center is the responsibility of the CDI/QAR once the requirements of Quality Assurance have been adhered to. 1 On the Work Order Update - Basic Work Order window, the cursor points to the Enter Login field for the CDI/QAR inspector. 2 Enter your login ID and then click the Tab key. 3 Enter the appropriate date and time in the Enter CDI Date Time prompt box and then click OK. Note: In instances when an assembly (engine, APU, ejection seat, main rotor head, MME, missiles, gun, and ALSS) is removed, the Outstanding Work Orders dialog box appears to ensure the CDI/QAR is aware of outstanding work orders against the assembly. 4 On the Privilege Login, type your password and then click OK. 5 At the Print prompt, respond accordingly. This process sends the work order to the historical file and Maintenance Control Queue. For more information, see CDI/QAR Queue (on page 484). Historical Work Order Query This window enables you to enter criteria to view details on a single or multiple historical work order. The more criteria that you enter results in a more precise query.
