Procedures (on page 290) Task Details The Task Details tab on the Task Definition dialog box in the Assembly Explorer allows the Baseline Manager (BLM) to create, view, or modify detailed baseline task information against the aircraft, an assembly, or sub-component selected in the hierarchical WUC structure. Squadron users and other foundation tiers are only allowed to view the Task Details tab. # To create, view, or modify detailed baseline information: 1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click a sub-WUC/UNS from the tree view and click the Task Definition tab. -orRight-click on a WUC/UNS fro the tree view and select WUC/UNS Properties. -orClick the WUC/UNS Properties button Definition tab. and select the Task 286 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 3 Select the task that you want to view and click the Task Definition Properties button . -orRight-click on the task and select Task Definition Properties. The Task Definition dialog box appears displaying the Task Details tab and the Definition sub tab. Note: The Task Details tab displays important information for each baseline task such as the Task Class, Subclass, WUC/UNS, Baseline task status, and TD Identification status. Also, the auto-create button is displayed indicating whether the BLM has authorized the application to automatically create an actual task for this baseline task when the inventory item is created. -orIf the squadron user is required to manually create the actual task. Task Applicability The Task Applicability tab on the Task Definition dialog box in the Assembly Explorer allows the Baseline Manager (BLM) to create, view, or modify detailed baseline task applicability information against the aircraft, an assembly, or sub-component selected in the hierarchical WUC structure. Squadron users and other foundation tiers are only allowed to view the Task Details sub tab. 1 Open the Configuration Management and Logs & Records main window (see "Open an Explorer or Catalog in Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 2 Go to the File menu, choose Open, then Assembly Catalog, and select Assembly Explorer Menu. 3 Select the Task Definition tab and highlight the task you want to modify.
