Add a Snivel Entry 1 Open the Flight Subsystem (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). 2 On the Scheduler window, click the Maintain Snivel Log Entry button . -orGo to the Actions menu and select Maintain Snivel Log Entry. 3 On the Maintain Snivel Log Entry window, click the Squadron List or Tactical List tab. 4 Select the aircrew from the Squadron List or the tactical group from the Tactical List. 68 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA The SSN and name of the selected aircrew or each crewmember in the tactical group appears in the Snivel Members block. Note: When entering snivel remarks for a tactical group, all crewmembers will have identical Snivel Remarks entries on the lower right window. 5 Type a brief narrative for the reason in the Snivel Remarks block. 6 Enter the dates and times if other than the current date, or doubleclick the Start Date box to display the calendar and select the dates. See Start and End Dates (on page 23). 7 Click OK to accept the entries. The Names and dates of the snivel entries are displayed on the lower window. 8 If you click Cancel, all entries are disregarded and the previous window reappears. Update a Snivel Entry 1 Open the Flight Subsystem (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). 2 On the Scheduler window, click the Maintain Snivel Log Entry button or go to the Actions menu and select Maintain Snivel Log Entry. 3 On the Maintain Snivel Log Entry window, click the aircrew or group name displayed on the bottom window. The selected name and remarks appear in the Snivel Members and Snivel Remarks blocks. 4 Modify the reason and dates and click OK. Delete a Snivel Entry 1 Open the Flight Subsystem (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). 2 On the Scheduler window, click the Maintain Snivel Log Entry button or go to the Actions menu and select Maintain Snivel Log Entry. 3 On the Maintain Snivel Log Entry window, click the aircrew or group's name. 4 Click Delete above the Snivel Members block. 5 Click Yes on the Delete Request response box to confirm the delete action. Create a Flight Event 1 Open the Flight Subsystem (see "How to Access the Flight Subsystem" on page 60). Chapter 3 Flight Subsystem 69 2 On the Scheduler window, enter the ORG code if other than the default (multi-organization environment). 3 Enter date if other than the current date, or click date. to select a future 4 You can also double-click the Date field to display the Calendar (on page 21) and select the date of the event. 5 Enter the Event Number and click OK. 6 When creating the first event for the selected date, the Watch Bill Required message appears. 7 Click OK and select the watch bill on the Maintain Watch Bill window.
