When you select single pane, only the tree view on the left side is displayed. When you select double-pane, information or tabs relating to the selected item in the tree view are displayed on the right side. ! On a double-pane window, click display to single pane. single-pane to change the ! On a single-pane window, click display to double pane. double-pane to change the Bitmaps Editor Icon When you click Bitmaps Editor next to a field, the system displays the Bitmaps Editor window for the field. For procedures, see Bitmaps Editor. WAN Explorer The Wide Area Network (WAN) Explorer lists all Navy and Marine sites that use NALCOMIS OMA. These sites are divided by TYCOM and location. Depending upon permissions (SMQs) assigned to you, the WAN Explorer will enable you to create, delete, or change server properties for your ORG code. Note: At the foundation tier (OMA, IMA, and NADEP), you can only work with the Local Address Book Tab. The system allows you to only view the remaining tabs. How to Access the WAN Explorer On the NALCOMIS OMA window: 1 Click Configuration Management and Logs & Records -orGo to the File menu, choose Open, and select Configuration Management. . 146 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 2 Click WAN Explorer . -orGo to the File menu, choose Open, and select WAN Explorer. WAN Explorer - Window Description The WAN Explorer is divided into two areas: ! The left side displays a tree view of the Navy and Marine sites database servers. The activities are tied together geographically by their TYCOMs and AIMDs. ! The right side displays tabs that contain information on the selected server in the tree view. Tasks are also available from the Edit menu or from a shortcut menu that appears when you right-click a site in the tree view. You can also click the applicable button on the toolbar. WAN Explorer - Tabs The WAN Explorer consists of different tabs, which describe their contents. Note: You can only work with the Local Address Book tab. The system allows you to only view the remaining tabs. For descriptions and procedures on the Group Explorer tabs, see the applicable topic listed under "In This Section." Database Description Tab The Database Description tab in the WAN Explorer displays the server name, site code, time zone, ICAO, and e-mail address, as well as the database name and network information, such as the TCP/IP address, for the selected activity in the tree view. Note: At the foundation tier (OMA, IMA, and NADEP), you can only work with the Local Address Book Tab. The system allows you to only view the remaining tabs. The window defaults to this tab when you go to the Edit menu and select Create Server, Delete Server, or Server Properties.
