If you access Optimized NALCOMIS OMA at the foundation tier (Organizational, Intermediate, or Depot Maintenance Level), you will only be able to view parts, DODIC, and assembly properties in the Parts Catalog, Assembly Catalog, DODIC Catalog, and Assembly Explorer. The Data Source tab enables authorized personnel to create, view or modify properties, and assign or unassign data source. The Task Plan Definition tab enables authorized users to create, view or modify properties, duplicate, or delete the task plans The action buttons on the tabs become available depending upon the activity's replication tier and server. For instance, squadron personnel can only view the properties of any assembly item on this window. How to Access the Assembly Catalog On the NALCOMIS OMA window: 1 Click Configuration Management and Logs & Records . -orGo to the File menu, choose Open, and select Configuration Management. 2 Click Assembly Catalog . -orGo to the File menu, choose Open, and select Assembly Catalog. Assembly Catalog - Window Description This window lists the assembly codes of all aircraft and equipment belonging to the Department of the Navy. It is divided into two areas: the left side displays the assembly codes; the right side displays the Data Source and Task Plan Definition tabs. For more information, see the following topics: ! Assembly Catalog - Tabs (on page 249) 248 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Toolbar Buttons and Menu Options - Assembly Catalog The Assembly Catalog displays the following toolbar buttons: Toolbar Button/Menu Option Action Edit>Assembly Properties Displays the Assembly dialog box showing details for a selected assembly item. Edit>Create Assembly Displays the Assembly [NEW] dialog box with blank fields. Edit>Duplicate Assembly Displays the Assembly dialog box showing details for a selected assembly item. Edit>Delete Assembly Removes the selected assembly item. Edit>Assembly Explorer Displays the Assembly Explorer for a selected assembly item. Toolbar Button \ Right-click Option Action Data Source Properties Displays the Data Source dialog box with the usage parameters for a selected data source. Create Data Source Displays the Data Source Editor window. Assign Datasource Displays all the datasources in the database. Unassign Datasource Displays all the datasources assigned to a selected assembly item. Task Plan Definition Properties Displays the task plan definition details for a selected assembly item. Create Task Plan Definition Displays the Task Plan Definition dialog box with blank fields. Duplicate Task Plan Definition Displays the task plan definition details for a selected assembly item.
