The Plan Step [New] dialog box appears. 5 On the Plan Step [New] dialog box, enter the plan step name, notification information, and interval. 6 Check either Fixed or Deviation as applicable. Now you are ready to assign task definitions. For procedures, see Plan Step (on page 262). Duplicate Plan Step The Task Plan Definition [ ] dialog box enables you to use the attributes of an existing plan step on a task plan to create a new one. 1 Open the Assembly Catalog (see "How to Access the Assembly Catalog" on page 247). 2 Click the assembly on the left and click the Task Plan Definition tab. 3 On the Task Plan Definition tab, click the task plan definition item you want to duplicate in the upper area. The related task plan steps appear in the lower area. 4 Click the plan step in the lower area and click the Duplicate Plan Step button . The Plan Step [Duplicate] dialog box appears. 5 On the Plan Step [Duplicate] dialog box, enter the new plan step name and modify Notification information and Interval as needed. 6 Check either option: Fixed or Deviation. Now you are ready to modify the step tasks. For procedures, see Plan Step (on page 262). 262 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Delete Plan Step The Task Plan Definition [ ] dialog box enables you to automatically delete a selected plan step from a task plan record. 1 Open the Assembly Catalog (see "How to Access the Assembly Catalog" on page 247). 2 Click the assembly on the left and click the Task Plan Definition tab. 3 On the Task Plan Definition tab lower area, right-click the plan step you want to delete and select Delete Plan Step, or click the plan Delete Plan Step. step you want to delete and 4 Click Yes on the prompt to confirm the delete action. Plan Step This dialog box displays the Detail and Description tabs containing plan step information relating to a task plan. It enables you to assign or unassign task definitions to a selected plan step. This dialog box enables you to create, view, modify, duplicate, or delete plan steps. All fields can be updated when duplicating a plan step, with the exception of the Plan Step Name. For procedures, see the following topics: ! Create Plan Step (on page 261) ! Duplicate Plan Step (on page 261) The following tabs, options, and command buttons are available: Detail Establish or modify the name of the Task Plan Step, and enter Notification and Interval information. Description Enter or modify narrative information about the task plan step. Fixed Set the task to be due based on the interval. Deviation Set the task to be due based on +/- 10% of its assigned interval. Assigned Plan Step Link the steps created to a Phased interval. Unassigned Plan Step Remove the links of the steps from a Phased interval. Assign Task Definition Display the Task Definition Assignment dialog box. Unassign Task Definition Move cursor to top row.
