Note 1: Although the OUTBOX is the default when the Select Group response box appears, do not select it if you are just moving an inventory item or personnel to another selection group. OUTBOX is only used for transfers. For procedures, see Transfer Aircraft, Equipment, Component, and/or Personnel Online (on page 184). Note 2: Selecting OUTBOX from the Select Group dialog box will cause the Transfer To response box to appear listing the designated remote site that you can transfer the item or personnel. For procedures, see Transfer To (on page 180). 176 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Augment a Disconnected Detachment The Disconnected Detachment process has been designed so that baseline changes are only moved from the squadron DMS to a detachment DMS via augments. If you encounter any problems with these procedures, contact SPAWARSYSCEN Norfolk Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Fleet Support. 1 Open the Group Explorer (see "How to Access the Group Explorer" on page 151). 2 Right-click the detachment that has been successfully offloaded and requires augmentation and select Create Augment. The Detachment [Augment] dialog box appears with information about the detachment. 3 In the Detachment [Augment] dialog box: a) In the Name box, enter the Augment # to distinguish it from previous augments. b) In the Description box, enter the description and in the Status box, enter the status (Disconnected). c) In the Start and End Date boxes, enter the dates or double-click in the boxes to display the Calendar (on page 21) to select the dates. d) Do not change the JCN range. e) Click OK. 4 Assign aircraft, equipment, and personnel to the newly created detachment. For procedures, see Move Aircraft, Equipment, and Personnel to a Detachment (on page 175). 5 Deploy the augment. For more information, see Deploy a Disconnected Detachment (on page 165). For additional information, see Detachment Processing (on page 159) or Creating Augment on the Home Guard Workstation (on page 162). Return a Disconnected Detachment From the detachment workstation, a disconnected detachment can be returned to its parent organization as a partial or full return. This process follows the same procedures prescribed for an Initial Detachment or an Augment. When a detachment is sending its changes (Actual Sweep In) to the parent organization, it is performing a partial return. For a full return, ensure that all items are cleared from the INBOX and OUTBOX selection groups. 1 Open the Group Explorer (see "How to Access the Group Explorer" on page 151).
