However, for IMC fix phase work order, ensure that you select X41, X42, or X43. 5 Enter the first position of the WUC/UNS or click the WUC/UNS field to display the WUC/UNS Selection dialog box. For procedures, see WUC/UNS Selection (on page 350). 6 Type a brief description of the discrepancy and the system reason. 7 Click Save to save the work order. 8 Click OK when the MCN and JCN Assignments dialog box appears. 9 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly. 10 If initiating a work order against a different aircraft or equipment, click New and follow steps 3 to 9. 11 Click Close to return to the Aircraft VED. One-Time Inspection This option enables you to initiate a one-time inspection work order against aircraft, SE, ALSS, or MME. This inspection is performed conditionally without the use of MRCs to ensure the safety of the aircraft, equipment, and personnel. This type of work order is OX. The dialog box displays two selection boxes: the first box contains the Modex, Serno, Assy Cd, and TMS; the second one contains the Work Center and Work Center Title. 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the Serno and choose Initiate, and select One-Time Inspection. 3 On the One-Time Inspection dialog box, select the Modex and the specific work centers. ! If the inspection involves all Modexes and work centers, click Select All for both selection boxes. ! If the inspection involves specific Modexes and/or work centers, hold down the Ctrl key and click each Modex and/or work center. 4 Click the Initiate Work Order button . Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 461 The One-Time Inspection dialog box reappears with some fields of the work order filled. 5 Type in a brief description of the inspection in the Discrepancy block and the System Reason. 6 Click Save to save the work order. 7 At the One Time Inspection prompt for one work center, respond accordingly. 8 Click OK when the MCN and JCN Assignments dialog box appears. If the inspection requirement involves all Modex, the MCN and JCN Assignments dialog box appears for each Modex. 9 Click OK when Save Successful dialog box appears. 10 At the Print prompt, respond accordingly. 11 Click Close to return to the VED. Duplicate Work Order Initiation This window enables you to initiate a duplicate of an existing work order against aircraft, SE, ALSS, or MME. The Duplicate Work Order is identical to the original work order, except for the BUNO/Serno, MCN, and JCN. Note: Do not duplicate scheduled inspection work orders. 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the Serno, choose Initiate, and select Duplicate. ! For aircraft, enter the Modex and the MCN of the work order to be duplicated. ! For SE, ALSS, or MME, enter the Serno and the MCN of the work order you want to be duplicated. !
