Assign a Task Definition to a Plan Step 1 Open the Assembly Catalog (see "How to Access the Assembly Catalog" on page 247). 2 Click the Task Plan Definition tab and click the Create Plan Step button . 3 Verify and correct the information on the Detail tab as needed. 4 Click the task definition item in the list and click the Assign Task Definition button . The Task Definition Assignment dialog box appears. 5 In the Task Definition Assignment dialog box, click the task definition item in the list, and then click Apply or OK. 6 Repeat step 4 and 5 to assign other task definitions to a plan step. Remove a Task Definition Assignment from a Plan Step 1 Open the Assembly Catalog (see "How to Access the Assembly Catalog" on page 247). 2 Click the Task Plan Definition tab and click the Create Plan Step button . 3 Verify and correct the information on the Detail tab as needed. 4 Click the task definition item in the list and click Unassign Task Definition. 5 Click Apply or OK. 6 Repeat steps 4 and 5 to remove other task definition assignments from a plan step. Task Definition Assignment This dialog box displays the system task definition list, and enables you to select task definitions to assign to a selected plan step. For procedures, see Plan Step (on page 262). For other utilities and functions available on this tab, see to Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). 264 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Assembly Catalog - Procedures The Assembly Catalog enables you to perform the following related tasks. These tasks are available from either the Edit menu or from a shortcut menu that appears when you right-click an assembly code item on the list. Toolbar buttons are available for tasks under each tab. Also available are utilities and functions common to the other explorers or catalogs. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). Create an Assembly Record The Create Assembly option on the Assembly Catalog enables you to create new assembly records. All information pertaining to a new assembly must be known and manually entered. 1 Open the Assembly Catalog (see "How to Access the Assembly Catalog" on page 247). 2 Right-click in the tree view and select Create Assembly or go to the Edit menu and select Create Assembly, or click the Create Assembly button . 3 On the Assembly [NEW] dialog box Identification block, enter the Assembly Code and Description. 4 Select the applicable Bitmap and Main Usage Parameter from available lists. Click select the bitmap. to display the Bitmaps Editor window and 5 In the Details block, select either ACFT (aircraft) or ASSY (assembly) for the Inventory Class of the item. 6 The Subclass further identifies the class.
