The Recurring Work Order Initiation window appears with all required data fields filled in. 7 Click Save to save the work order. 8 Click OK when the MCN and JCN Assignments dialog box appears. 9 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly. 10 Click Close to return to the VED. Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 443 The initiated work order appears in the Active Work Order Query for the specific aircraft or equipment. Recurring Work Order Selection This window enables you to initiate a recurring work order that exists in the database. A recurring type work order is a repetitive but necessary task to maintain the material condition readiness of aircraft, uninstalled equipment, SE, ALSS, or MME. Note: Recurring work orders for non-aeronautical equipment, such as Local Manufacture, may be initiated only from the ALSS, SE, and MME VED. Additionally, the Assy Cd (ZAAA) must be entered in the Assy Cd box. Only equipment in the OMA database will be available in the list boxes. For procedures, see Initiate Recurring Work Order (on page 442). Recurring Work Order Initiation This window enables you to initiate a generic recurring work order against a selected aircraft or equipment. Data on this window is retrieved from the Recurring Work Order Selection window. You can modify the fields to tailor the work order to the discrepancy. For procedures, see Initiate Recurring Work Order (on page 442). Initiate IMC Recurring Work Order 1 Open the specific VED (see "Open a VED" on page 342). 2 Right-click the aircraft, choose Initiate, and select IMC Recurring. The IMC Recurring Initiation window appears with blank Modex and IMC Control JCN fields. 3 Enter the appropriate Modex and IMC Control JCN. 4 Select the inspection step to be performed from the available list shown at the bottom of the window. 5 Click the Initiate Recurring WO button or go to the Actions menu and select Initiate Recurring WO. 6 Respond to the Print prompt accordingly. This process adds the work order to the Aircraft Active Work Order Query list. 7 To initiate another IMC Recurring work order against another aircraft, click New, and repeat steps 2 to 6. 444 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA IMC Recurring Initiation The IMC Recurring Initiation window appears to initiate an IMC Recurring work order against an aircraft. The work order is derived from the IMC Recurring Work Order table, which is pre-coded to make it easier for the work center personnel in using this option. For procedures, see Initiate IMC Recurring Work Order (on page 443). Initiate Unscheduled Maintenance Work Order The Initiate Unscheduled Maintenance option in the Maintenance Subsystem enables you to initiate unscheduled maintenance work order against aircraft, SE, ALSS, MME, Uninstalled or Non-aeronautical Equipment.
