Chapter 4 Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem 131 2 Go to the Utilities menu and select CGPN Exception Update. 3 On the CGPN Exceptions dialog box, right-click the Part Number entry and select Create Part, or select the item and click the Create Part button . The Part [NEW] dialog box appears with the Part Number and CAGE fields prefilled. 4 On the Part [NEW] dialog box, enter the appropriate data. 5 Click OK when completed. This process removes the part number and CAGE from the exception list and adds them to the Parts Catalog. Delete CGPN Exceptions The Delete CGPN Exceptions option on the CGPN Exceptions window enables you to delete a CAGE and part number combination that is determined to be erroneous. 1 Open the Configuration Management and Logs & Records main window (see "Open an Explorer or Catalog in Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 2 Go to the Utilities menu and select CGPN Exception Update. 3 On the CGPN Exceptions dialog box, right-click the Part Number entry you want to delete and select Delete CGPN Exceptions, or select the Part Number and click the Delete CGPN Exceptions button . 4 Click OK to confirm the deletion. Restore CGPN Exceptions The Restore CGPN Exceptions option on the CGPN Exceptions window enables you to restore deleted CAGE/Part Numbers. The Restore Deleted CGPN Exceptions button is available only when there is a deleted CGPN. 1 Open the Configuration Management and Logs & Records main window (see "Open an Explorer or Catalog in Configuration Management and Logs & Records Subsystem" on page 128). 2 Go to the Utilities menu and select CGPN Exception Update. 3 On the CGPN Exceptions window, click the Restore Deleted CGPN Exceptions button , or right-click any part number entry and select Restore Deleted CGPN Exceptions. 4 The Restore dialog box appears with a listing of all deleted CAGE/Part Numbers. 5 To restore specific or multiple CGPNs, click OK. 6 To restore all the deleted CGPNs, click Select All and click OK. 7 To restore all deleted CGPNs in reverse arrangement, click Invert Selection. 132 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA 8 To discontinue the process and return to the CGPN Exceptions window, click Cancel. Restore The Restore dialog box enables you to restore one or more deleted CAGE/Part Numbers. The box appears with a listing of all deleted CAGE/Part Numbers and various command buttons. OK Restores the selected CGPN. Cancel Discontinues the process. Select All Restores all deleted CGPNs on the list. Invert Selection Discontinue the process and return to the CGPN Exceptions window. For procedures, see Restore CGPN Exceptions (on page 131).
