Unformatted text preview: the Flight Document Initiation dialog box enables you to initiate a flight flown by your aircrew with another activity. This process updates your aircrew history data only. The Flight Document - Aircraft tab appears with a blank document number field and also appears with AAA and 4 in the MODEX and Away data fields, respectively. # To initiate a flight flown by your aircrew with another activity: 1 Select Other Activity Flight from the Flight Document Initiation box. 2 Enter the flight document number in the Document Number field and click OK. 3 You will go through the tabs to enter required data in the applicable boxes to complete the flight document. For procedures, see Flight Document - Tabs (on page 99). 4 When you finish establishing the required data on each tab, click Save & Print Document or Save to commence the validation process. The Saving Flight Document prompt appears to enable you to enter the A/C (aircraft) or the MSN CMDR (mission commander) signature. 5 To enter the signature, click Yes. Type your user ID and password and click OK. If not entering the signature, click No. 6 At the Print prompt, respond accordingly. The flight document now appears under the Flight Document Approval option of the Approval queue. 88 User Guide Optimized NALCOMIS OMA Initiate an Unscheduled Flight - Simulator Flight The Simulator Flight option on the Flight Document Initiation dialog box enables you initiate a flight document for a simulator flight. # To initiate a flight document for a simulator flight: 1 Select Simulator Flight from the Flight Document Initiation box. 2 If the simulator belongs to your organization, click OK. Otherwise, enter the document number and click OK. The Flight Document - Aircraft window appears with the Modex TTT. 3 At this point, you will go through the tabs to enter required data to complete the flight document. For procedures, see Flight Document Tabs (on page 99). 4 When you finish entering the required data on each tab, click Save & Print Document or Save to commence the validation process and update the trainer's usage data.
