display. Parts Catalog - Procedures
You can create a part not related to any WUC/UNS.
Note: At the foundation tier (OMA, IMA, or Depot level), the system
allows you to retrieve parts and view parts. For more information, see to
the following procedures. # To retrieve parts:
1 On the Parts Catalog window:
a) Enter the data in the Part Name or Part No field if known or select
data from the drop-down lists from each data field.
b) Select a row limit from the Row Limit drop-down list.
c) Click Retrieve.
Note: You can enter a few known characters followed by the "%"
sign as a wildcard for expeditious query on the Part Name or Part No
The bottom portion of the window displays the results of the retrieve
action. 2 Click Clear Filter to retrieve another part. # To view parts:
1 From the Results listing, right-click the specific part to view and
select Part Properties option from the menu or click Part Properties.
The Part dialog box appears displaying the various attributes of the
selected part as you click on the different tabs. 2 Click OK.

Both the Assembly Explorer and Parts Catalog enables you access the
CAGE Assignment window to select a CAGE for a selected part number.
Task selections for this window are available as toolbar buttons. For
procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and
Catalogs (on page 129).
For Assembly Explorer:
1 Open the Assembly Explorer (see "How to Access the Assembly
Explorer" on page 266). 2 Click the Part No. tab and open the Part dialog box.
3 In the Part dialog box, click the CAGE icon . The CAGE Assignment dialog box appears with all the possible

The CAGE is now attached to the part number.
For Parts Catalog:
1 Open the Parts Catalog (see "How to Access the Parts Catalog" on
page 298) and open the Part dialog box. 2 On the Part dialog box, click the CAGE icon . The CAGE Assignment dialog box appears with all the possible

The CAGE is now attached to the part number. DODIC Catalog
The DODIC Catalog lists all the DODIC items with their baseline
information. These items are derived from NAVAIR 220.127.116.11,
Cartridges and CADS for Aircraft and Unique Aircraft System Manual.
Note: At the foundation tier (Organizational, IMA, or Depot level), the
system allows you to only view the DODIC properties.
It enables authorized personnel to add, view or modify, duplicate, or
delete DODIC items in the database.
Also available are utilities and functions common to the other explorers
or catalogs. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in
