Inspections Near Due Tab The Inspections Near Due tab on the Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book enables you to view and issue work orders for inspections that are due. The tab shows a list of all inspections that are due for compliance against the selected aircraft. If the inspection is shown in red, it indicates that the inspection is overdue and must be completed as soon as possible. The tab displays columns for the Inspection Name, Interval Code, When Due, Remaining Interval, Overdue (?) data of the inspections. The window displays the common utilities and function buttons. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). It also displays the Initiate button. # To initiate a work order: 1 Click Initiate. 2 On the Inspections - Aircraft window, select the inspection against which the work order will be issued and click Initiate. For detailed procedures, see Inspections - Aircraft (on page 449). For more information, see Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book (on page 354). Chapter 5 Maintenance Subsystem 373 Removals Near Due Tab The Removals Near Due Tab on the Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book enables you to view a list of all life limited components that are nearing their removal due dates/counts. It also reflects those components that are overdue for removal, which render the aircraft in NMC status. These overdue components are shown in red. The tab displays information regarding the component serial number, part number, interval code, and counts before removal. The Deviation Indicator identifies each component whether the established deviation is applicable. The tab also contains common utilities and functions. For procedures, see Common Utilities and Functions in Explorers and Catalogs (on page 129). The tab displays the Initiate button to issue a work order against a selected component to be removed. # To initiate a work order: 1 Click Initiate. The Near Due Removal - Component window appears with identical listing where the applicable component can be selected. 2 On the Near Due Removal - Component window, enter the work center, select the component, and then click Initiate. Summary Tab The Summary tab on the Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book enables you to view or print a copy of specific data on particular aircraft and engine, AIA records, maintenance requirements, and work orders.
