Based on the objectives and resources I have read from this week the main idea I have learned about my personal finances is that I am not doing as much as I thought I was. This also ties into my financial literacy, there is a lot that can be done to better manage finances. Prior to this week I thought I was well versed in my financial situation but this week has taught me a lot.There were so many tips throughout the weeks reading assignments as well as in the discussion posts. A few that will definitely help me in the future are the ones pertaining to spending less and saving money. The “one less” strategy is a good way to practice a little self-control when going out shopping. Putting one thing back that is not a necessity is a good way to save a few dollars here and there.
