Patrick Sullivan 2/20/07 Dan Chelotti Eng Writ 112 I’m not a nerd I’m a. .. I sit hunched over with blood red eyes staring at the T.V., and watch my team fall apart at the grips of our swarming enemies. We’re down against a good clan but we know we can pull through and win triumphantly. Though I never loose confidence in our team, there are a few teammates pessimistically voice their opinions about our teamwork and strategies. I encourage our team over the microphone and tell them we will conquer the other “evil” team. I am sitting in my nine o’clock class on Friday morning looking around at the many empty seats around me and think to myself: I’m going work as hard as I can to never have a class this early ever again. I gave up hanging out with my friends late into the night so I can come to this useless class with a clear head. This happened every Thursday night. I stuck to this schedule for if I didn’t, I probably would have received a D. Then there is botany. Eight AM on Tuesday and Thursday. A nice and long hour and 15 minute class that I only missed twice throughout the semester. We’re on the second map, in a best of 3 match and I am leading the team in kills. I might not be directing the team throughout the maps but I am, without question, the best player in the match. It is not a question of if we will win but rather how long will it take.
