The Aging Brain Senescence reduces the production of neurotransmitters, neural fluid decreases, myelination thins, the corpus callosum is reduced, and blood circulates more slowly in the brain. Neuroscience Gray matter (crucial for processing new experiences) is reduced The amount of shrinkage is related to the amount of cognitive decline. Compared with young adults, older adults use more parts of their brains to solve problems.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
