5a: Reflection Sayquan Anthony COM 105Community Christian College
5a Reflection 1.) Growing up there were some cultural barriers I had to overcome. My best friend was Mexican and when we were little I could barely understand anything he was saying, sometimes he would have to say stuff 3-4 times before I could even understand him, but we stayed friends because we always knock on each other door, to see if anyone of us, could come out and play. When I was little I use to go to his house and eat dinner sometimes, and some of their food taste nasty or they had food I’ve never had before, so I thought it was nasty just because I’ve never had it before, but over time I started eating more and more of their food, and start actually liking it, so that’s a way I had to overcome culture barriers. 2.) Knowing Jesus love covers all barriers means a lot to me, it means he truly love all his people. No matter what race, gender, religion, he loves everybody. This impact me in a great way because I treat everybody the same with respect, and dignity, and love.
