This article was written to show the study of the prevalence, antimicrobial resistance and genetic diversity of Salmonella enterica from eggs in Guangdong, China. Salmonella is a food borne bacteria that has affected countries world-wide. It has antimicrobial resistance which cause it to be resistance antibiotic drugs. This resistance to antibiotic drugs is why people are dying each year. Egg samples were collected from farms and markets in Guangdong, China and was used to determine which eggs had Salmonella and their genetic diversity in different serotypes. Eggs are the most crucial host of Salmonella . The different serotypes were analyzed by using MLST and ERIC-PCR typing. Getting an understanding of Salmonella and its antimicrobial resistance was the emphasis of this study to improve food safety. The article was clear and
