Reaction paper on “Hotel Operations, Design Adjust to Social Distancing” After reading the article about Hotel operations, design to adjust social distancing. As hoteliers saddled with the new norm on guidelines for social distancing which potentially mean fewer covers, fewer pours and much less revenue. As some hotel properties adjust to social distancing standpoint, many hotel properties adjust on how their operations work as well to follow the Center for Disease Control standards too; things like partition at the concierge desk between the guest relations and guests checking in, signage’s on the floors. There have also been talks on some major establishments and properties to replace or completely remove carpets to a more “hygienic” marble or tile floorings as carpets are major place for the virus to strive.
