Velasquez Business Ethics What are the two senses of responsibility Velasquez mentions and which does he use? 1. Responsibility = obligation or duty 2. Responsibility = the cause of or blame for something that happened (causal responsibility) Two types of causal responsibility: 1. Natural – we attribute to non-intentional agents 2. Moral – we attribute to intentional agents What is V’s main thesis? Corporations are not morally responsible. Why?
