Rock Sims English 101 February 4, 2008 Rhetorical Analysis on Cullen (120-124) In the article “Was Cho Seung-Hui Really Like the Columbine Killers?” the author Dave Cullen asks whether the Virginia Tech shooter, Cho Seung-Hui, suffered from psychosis was a psychopath like the media coverage made him out to be, or was if he was simply full of uncontrollable anger and depression. Cullen also compar es and contrast s Cho Seung-Hui to the Columbine Shooters, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. In the article, he give s examples that prove that Cho shows signs of a psychopath, as well as signs of psychosis, anger, and depression, while at the same time comparing him to Dylan in Eric. In this comparison, Cullen notes that Seung-Hui compares to Dylan and Eric in some ways, but still differs from them in many underlying ways.
